Lass, We Discussed This...

Marie learned two things about Jem, the head cook, her first day working on the Magic Express: 1. Jem was probably the only person on staff who could and would openly push Mr. Shankersham's buttons, and 2. That she liked Jem very much.

Shanks wants to know why Jem isn't otherwise occupying the little girl who is apparently going to join him for tea that afternoon ("Don't you have a floor she could scrub or some such?"), while Jem ignores him as per usual.

I was going to make it prettier but...but I can let a piece sit on my computer for only so long. D: Otherwise I would have refined it a bit more.

Anyway, I'm basically pleased with the result, I s'pose, and it's nice working on Magic Train again after a bit. Oh yeah.
